The crown is built as a system.

The Kingmaking System orders five operating decisions: mandate, constraint, advantage, campaign, and transfer. Each stage defines an owner, artifact, measure, and condition for moving on.

Five operating stages

    Mandate

    Name the Mandate. State what must be won, the realm in which it must become true, the responsible sovereign, the authority source, the non-negotiable boundaries, and the evidence that would justify closure or reframing.

  2. 02

    Counsel

    Read the Realm. Map the actors, decisions, dependencies, incentives, interfaces, and competing measures. Separate visible friction from the constraint that governs the system, then record who may decide, escalate, reverse, and stop.

  3. 03

    Forge

    Forge the Advantage. Design the smallest sufficient intervention against the binding constraint. Name the accountable owner, the required capabilities, the decision sequence, the measures, and what will deliberately remain unchanged.

  4. 04

    Campaign

    Execute the Campaign. Run a decision cadence around evidence, exceptions, ownership, and changed behavior. Preserve a reconstructable record of what was decided, under whose authority, against which constraint, and with what review trigger.

  5. 05

    Crown

    Transfer the Crown. Test whether the client can operate the system, handle exceptions, maintain the measures, govern the decision record, and command the capability without consultancy dependency.

Governance and closure

The system is governed by explicit authority, not meeting volume. Every recurring forum must name its inputs, decider, decision output, escalation threshold, record, and expiry condition.

Evidence determines whether a mandate transfers, reframes, or closes. That decision changes when authority is withdrawn, the constraint is disproved, the economics shift, or the mandate loses its justification.
